Estelle Oud by Western Valley Avenue – Perfume Review

A lot has been going on in the last few months, including a makeover for my blog. I also introduced a few new categories I have been wanting to write about. One of them being Friday Fragrances. So first and foremost, I am a fragrance freak! I love fragrances in any form, size or shape and never can have enough!

After that declaration, I am going to talk about this new find at one of my fragrance hunts. Estelle Oud from the Western Valley Avenue Perfumes. If you have ever lived in the Arab world, you will be familiar with Attar (fragrance/essential oil), and their strong scents. It is so pleasing to the nose and almost always leaves an after scent behind. The Estelle Oud is no different. It is essentially a perfume, that smells almost like attar, but with a western twist!

The 75 ml bottle of Eau de Parfum, looks beautiful with it’s traditional arabic design and colored like Oud, gives you the feel of an attar bottle.

Coming back to the scent notes – top notes – spicy and oud, middle notes – olibanum and oud, base notes – myrrh and earthy.

Ingredients – coumarin (sweet hay), citral (lemon), citronellol (floral), geraniol (floral), limonene (orange), linalool (floral woody).

This woody, spicy and floral fragrance remains on my skin for up to 12 hours and on my clothes for up to 24hours.

I bought it from Centrepoint (Mirdif City Center) during DSF so I got a great deal on it, which included a clutch bag and 2 travel size perfumes.

Have you used this perfume? what do you think about it? I would love to hear your thoughts!
